About the Colorado Lightning Football Club

The Colorado Lightning Football Club is a Limited Liability, privately held company established in September of 2011. The Club was established on a very simple philosophy; to provide a better brand of football that the entire family can enjoy. The intent is to deliver the WOW factor in terms service to every company associate, every affilliate, every partner, fans and ultimately to provide an outstanding product on and off the field. The team is one of the newest members of the American Professional Football League (APFL). The league is a well established league since 2003. It is headquartered in Topeka, KS. and is comprised of eight teams from Nebraska, Kansas, Iowa, Wyoming, Oklahoma and Colorado. Teams play arena style football with fast pace action and high scoring outcomes. The Lightning will play its inaugural season in Monument, CO at the Colorado Sports and Events Center beginning in March of 2012. League play will continue through July.
